Starhawk en Sicilia

Starhawk (nombre de nacimiento Miriam Simos, Saint Paul, Minnesota, 17 de junio de 1951) es una escritora y activista anarquista y autodenominada bruja¹ Es conocida como teórica del neopaganismo y del ecofeminismo. Es columnista de Beliefnet.com y On Faith (el foro deNewsweek./washingtonpost.com en internet).
Nació en Saint Paul, EE.UU., y vive ahora en San Francisco, en donde trabaja con Reclaiming, una tradición de brujería que ella cofundó en los 1970s.
Es internacionalmente conocida como entrenadora en no violencia y acción directa, y como activista en el movimiento pacifista. También actúa dentro del feminismo y del movimiento altermundista.
